got hooked on the XBOX 1's nuts with Halo (which was a good game). Sony delayed the PS3 in 2005 (which was actually good), and when it launched it was very expensive, had a weird thing called Blu-Ray and lots of people got hurt and killed trying to get one for Xmas '06 and they [journos] erred on the side of doom for the machine ever since.
It pissed them off so bad when Toshiba gave up with HD-DVD & it must rip their guts out now to see it at 50 million selling ...

If anything, I wish they make this one of the most secure machines around, and announce StarHawk Christmas '11. That would be pretty f'n fantastic.

Despite touting the PS3's marked upswing in popularity and sales worldwide since 2009, "gaming journos" - and that term is used as loosely as possible - would rather take this [1] opportunity (after the PSN has been infiltrated by some yayhoo[s]), as a sign that all of a sudden it's in decline & people are abandoning the brand in mass exodus. as far as console fps' go, it most likely will not look as good as Kizzy2 or Kizzy3 - I could be wrong, but strongly doubt it.
I'm sure it will be a fun, fun experience (and I'll buy the game for the PS3 - I travel way too much for PC gaming) but right now GG is on top in fps visuals (for consoles) and Kizzy2 or 3 could not be done on the 360 (w/o a SIGNIFICANT downgrade) and definitely not on the wii.
